Comedian AY Hits Out at Haters
Ace comedian Ayo Makun popularly known as AY is not happy with the way some people reacted to his movie 30 Days in Atlanta making the Guinness World Records as the highest grossing movie in Nollywood. The comedian has put out strong words for people who have a problem with his successes.
The father of one is letting nothing get in the way of his joy as he took to Instagram to answer enemies of progress.
“Some say “Ay you are dry” yet my shows are usually sold out… Some even say “Ay you have no business doing movies”…. yet my first ever movie landed me in the Guinness World Records as the highest grossing movie in Nollywood and continent of Africa.
You need to learn how to ignore what people say or think of you. Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy. #ATripToJamaica #AnotherAyMovie”
The movie was officially recognized by the 2017 Guinness World Records as one of the films with the highest domestic gross in the territories of Bollywood, Nollywood and Hollywood. The record breaking movies listed are PK from India, 30 Days In Atlanta from Nigeria and Star Wars From The United States of America.
30 Days In Atlanta starred Funke Akindele, RMD, Ramsey Nouah, Ayo Makun and others. AY’s latest movie A Trip To Jamaica is set for premiere on September 25.
